Andrew M. Rosenfield

Andrew M. Rosenfield is Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of TGG Group. Mr. Rosenfield began his career as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lexecon Inc., an early and leading “law and economics” consulting firm, which he led for 25 years until its sale to a public company.
In addition to his work at TGG Group, Mr. Rosenfield serves as Senior Lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School, where he has taught for 25 years, and is a Managing Partner of Guggenheim Partners.
He is a member of the Board of Trustees of The University of Chicago and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Mr. Rosenfield was educated at Kenyon College, Harvard University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Chicago Law School.
Steven Levitt

Steven Levitt is a Founding Partner of TGG Group. Mr. Levitt is the William B. Ogden Distinguished Service Professor of Economics at The University of Chicago. He is also the co-author of the best-selling books Freakonomics and SuperFreakonomics.
Mr. Levitt is one of the world's best and most regarded economists. In 2003, he was awarded the John Bates Clark medal, awarded to the most influential economist under the age of 40.
Mr. Levitt was educated at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows.
Daniel Kahneman

Daniel Kahneman is a Founding Partner of TGG Group. Mr. Kahneman is Professor of Psychology and Public Affairs Emeritus at the Woodrow Wilson School and the Eugene Higgins Professor of Psychology Emeritus at Princeton University.
In 2002, Mr. Kahneman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences for having integrated insights from psychological research into economics, especially concerning human judgment and decision-making under uncertainty. In 2013, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Mr. Kahneman holds a Ph.D in Psychology from The University of California, Berkeley.
Chad Syverson

Chad Syverson is a Founding Partner of TGG Group. Mr. Syverson is the J. Baum Harris Professor of Economics at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. His research spans several topics, with a particular focus on the interactions of firm structure, market structure, and productivity.
Gary Becker
Founding Partner
Gary Becker was a Founding Partner of TGG Group until his passing in May of 2014. Mr. Becker was a Professor of Economics and Sociology at The University of Chicago. He pioneered the economic study of "non-market" topics such as racial discrimination, crime, and the economics of the family. His numerous awards included the John Bates Clark Medal (1967), the Nobel Prize in Economics (1992), the National Medal of Science (2000), and the Presidential Medal of Freedom (2007).
John List

John List is a Founding Partner of TGG Group. Mr. List is the Homer J. Livingston Professor of Economics at The University of Chicago as well as the Chairman of the Department of Economics. Mr. List is best known for his pioneering work in the use of field experiments to test economic theory directly in the marketplace.
